Momoko Kirsch

Music has always been a big part of my life. My mom loves music, and I think that love naturally passed on to me. I started performing when I was around six years old through my mom’s Japanese choir, and I’ve loved singing and dancing ever since.

Growing up, I participated in musical theatre classes and choir performances in elementary school. I continued singing in choir during sixth and seventh grade, and later took theatre classes during my freshman and sophomore years of high school. During sophomore year, I also performed in a production of Frog and Toad for elementary school students.

Dance has been another huge part of my life. I started with tap dance in elementary school and eventually trained in ballet, contemporary jazz, and hip-hop. I joined Kontagious Performing Company during my freshman year of high school and performed in showcases and competitions with them until May 2026.

I’ve always loved both performing myself and watching other people perform, whether that’s singing, dancing, or musical theatre.
